Nothing is future proof, but at Camp Resilience we will help you build the skills to ensure your communities are responsive to change. Resilient Colorado communities will be able to adapt and thrive no matter what disruptions they face. Disruptions facing Colorado communities include long-term stresses such as drought, aging populations, loss of population, climate change, industry transitions, and lack of affordable housing as well as short-term shocks such as fire and highway closures. You will walk away from camp able to integrate resilience into all aspects of your projects, programs, and plans. This will ensure you are investing in actions that will withstand change and disruption and endure for many generations. As with any good camp, there will be opportunities to break the rules, especially with regard to ways of doing business that no longer serve you. We hope you will walk away a little changed-at least as it relates to how you position your communities to take on the future. Singing kumbaya will be optional, but creativity will be front and center. We promise camp is never boring.
